Embodied Youth 360
📍 We Rock The Spectrum ~ 300 NICKEL ST, UNIT 6, BROOMFIELD, CO 80020
🗓️ 1st & 3rd Friday Morning of Every Month | 10:00 – 11:00 AM MT
The future belongs to youth who feel confident in their authentic expression, meaningfully connected to others, and capable of navigating life’s challenges with creativity, kindness, and resilience. Yet, in a world dominated by screens and disembodied socialization, many young people are missing the tools they need to express themselves, regulate their emotions, and build real, meaningful connections.
Through movement and dance, storytelling and group rituals, we create spaces where kids can step into their full selves ~ grounded, expressive, and empowered. When youth feel seen, supported, and encouraged to move, create, and connect with others, they carry these skills into the future, shaping communities that are more compassionate, adaptable, and alive.

Stories From the Dance Floor
Neuroscience shows that repetition creates new neural pathways. The more we practice showing up aligned in body, mind, and spirit, the more lasting the change. It's not "fake it 'til you make it." It's embody it until your brain rewires. Because acting differently reprograms your subconscious mind. And your body is your subconscious mind.
As Dr. Brené Brown says: "Knowledge is just a rumor until it lives in the muscle."
This spring at Una Vida, we're exploring Embodied Storytelling: A Journey of Becoming ~ where the body tells your story, and the story becomes art.
Embodied storytelling is your story expressed through the body ~ because the body holds memory, emotion, and experience in ways words alone cannot reach.
